About Refurbished IT

A certified renewed device is one that has been returned to working condition through a structured process — data wiping, hardware testing and diagnostics, physical cleaning, component repair or replacement where necessary, and fresh OS installation. At Easy Connect, every device passes our 24-point audit before it's listed for sale. "Renewed" and "refurbished" mean the same thing; we use both interchangeably.

Yes — particularly for business-class hardware. Devices from Dell Latitude, HP EliteBook, and Lenovo ThinkPad lines are built to military-specification durability standards and are designed for 5–7 year lifecycles. When sourced from corporate fleets (which typically retire hardware on a 3-year cycle), these devices have years of remaining productive life. Our diagnostics guarantee functional performance to factory specification before any unit ships.

Both grades are functionally identical — the difference is cosmetic only. Grade A units have no visible scratches or marks under normal viewing conditions. Grade B units have minor cosmetic imperfections such as light surface scratches on the casing. Screens are fully functional on both grades with no dead pixels or cracks. We source exclusively from tier-1 Malaysian and regional corporations undergoing IT fleet upgrades, certified ITAD partners with documented chain of custody, and government or institutional tenders with verifiable asset history. We do not purchase hardware from unknown or unverified sources. Every device arrives with a documented serial number and is processed through our facility before sale.

Warranty & Support

All devices come with a minimum 6-month hardware warranty. Qualifying products carry up to a 12-month warranty. The warranty covers hardware component failures, functional performance issues, and software configuration problems arising from our pre-delivery setup. It does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or software issues from third-party installations after delivery. See our Terms & Conditions for full warranty details.

We will assess the issue and either guide you through a software fix remotely, arrange collection for repair, or provide a swap unit (for corporate clients with active fleet agreements). Warranty repairs are completed at no charge. Corporate clients receive a replacement unit within 48 hours while their device is being assessed.

Batteries are consumable components and are not covered for gradual capacity degradation over time. However, if a battery fails completely or the device cannot hold a charge immediately from delivery, this is covered under warranty. Battery health at the time of sale is disclosed in the product specifications — Grade A devices guarantee minimum 80% original capacity, Grade B minimum 75%.

Data Security

All storage devices — HDD and SSD — are wiped using NIST 800-88 and DoD 5220.22-M compliant methods. This means the data is overwritten multiple times and verified as unrecoverable. Drives that are physically damaged are shredded rather than wiped. A Certificate of Data Destruction is available on request for any device processed through our facility.

Yes. Contact us with the device serial number and we will issue a formal Certificate of Data Destruction showing the wipe method used, verification pass, and date of processing. This is available at no additional charge for all devices sold through Easy Connect Solutions Malaysia.

Buying & Delivery

We operate primarily through direct inquiry — contact us via our contact form, WhatsApp (+6011 2090 6561), or email (info@easyconnect.my) with your requirements and we'll provide a tailored quote. For corporate bulk orders, we will prepare a formal quotation with specifications, pricing, and delivery timeline.

Yes. We deliver nationwide. Standard delivery across Peninsular Malaysia takes 3–5 business days. East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak) typically takes 5–10 business days. For large fleet orders, we can arrange phased deliveries to multiple locations. On-site deployment assistance is available on request.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the product arrives in a condition materially different from what was described. The device must be returned in its original condition with all accessories. Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned unit. Corporate & Fleet

We handle orders from 10 units for corporate fleet procurement. For individual purchases or small batches (under 10 units), we can accommodate on a case-by-case basis. There is no upper limit — we have supplied fleets of 200+ units to Malaysian corporations and institutions.

Yes. For bulk orders, we can pre-configure devices with your required OS version, software packages, network settings, domain join, and asset tagging before delivery. Configuration requirements should be discussed during the quotation stage to allow lead time for setup.

Yes — this is one of our core services. When you procure a new fleet from us, we can simultaneously collect and process your outgoing devices through our ITAD service. You receive Certificates of Data Destruction for every retired device, and a chain of custody report covering the full engagement.
